The Job

We are currently recruiting a fulltime PHP Developer for our office in London (or remotely) that could join our high-performance team, helping to build the future of this industry.

Working alongside our CTO this role will play an important part in supporting the growth of web development.

What You'll Be Doing

Designing, implementing and optimizing products and services used by our users.
Turning product plans into code in close collaboration with product managers, designers, and frontend web developers.
Building highly scalable API services.
Helping to design and maintain our systems infrastructure.
Becoming intimately familiar with our Laravel and Node.js applications, and forming an opinion about how to debug and improve them.
Collaborating with developers across multiple teams and tech stacks.

What the Ideal Candidate Will Have

A positive attitude with healthy doses of “get shit done” and intellectual curiosity.
Experience shipping software at scale, with a product-focused mindset
1+ year experience working with server side technology (PHP,Node or Python).
Some experience with AngularJs, VueJs, React (at least one of them, basic knowledge)
Experience using JavaScript and familiarity with common JavaScript tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with MySQL, Redis and eventually Elasticsearch or NoSQL storage.
A solid understanding of fundamental web technologies including HTTP and RESTful services

Our Interview Process

Our Interview Process Skype screen: < 30mins conversation with our CTO.
Coding challenge: We'll ask you to write some code, and then share it with us to review.
In-person interviews: 1 day at our office in London where you'll meet our team and CEO.
