What is a Magento Product Feed?

A Magento product feed — sometimes called a data feed — is a structured file in CSV, XML or JSON that carries your products, prices, images and stock from your Magento store to a sales channel like Google Shopping, Meta or TikTok, formatted exactly the way that channel requires. Every channel wants different attributes, categories and formats, which is why one-off exports break down after the first channel.

Pricefy generates Magento product feeds from a single API connection — an integration token, no extension in your codebase. Your catalog syncs automatically, including simple, configurable, bundle and grouped products, each channel gets its own validated template with the right attributes and taxonomy, and feeds refresh on schedule with the prices and stock currently in Magento — including repriced prices if you use Pricefy's repricing engine.

Google Shopping Feed from Magento 2 — In Minutes

Pick Google Shopping, pick your country, and Pricefy loads the exact Merchant Center template: required attributes, GTIN handling, and the full Google product taxonomy mapped against your Magento categories. The feed validates before it ships, so products land in Merchant Center without disapprovals — and configurable products carry their variant data properly instead of exporting as bare parent rows.

Export Products from Magento 2 — Without the CSV Wrangling

Magento's built-in export gets you a raw CSV; channels want validated, channel-specific files that stay current. Pricefy replaces one-off exports with a continuous sync: products, attributes, images, prices and stock stream through the native API — simple, configurable, bundle and grouped products with attribute sets intact — and export as CSV, TSV, XML, JSON, RSS or Atom per channel. Multi-website and multi-store-view setups are covered by the same connection.

Rules, Category Mapping and Validated Feeds

Transform titles, filter out products you don't want advertised, and map your Magento categories to each channel's category tree. Pricefy validates every feed before it ships and flags incomplete products — missing GTINs, empty attributes, broken image links — so you fix issues before the channel rejects them.

Price-Aware Feeds — Powered by Your Repricing Engine

This is the part feed extensions can't do: Pricefy monitors your competitors and reprices your Magento catalog — writing new prices back via the native API — and your feeds inherit those prices automatically. Advertise repriced prices on Google Shopping the moment they change, and stop promoting out-of-stock or margin-losing SKUs — automatically.

Another feed extension to maintain, or one API connection?

Magento feed extensions

The classic Magento route is a feed extension installed into your codebase — one more module to configure per channel, test on staging, and keep compatible through every Magento upgrade and security patch. And it only knows the prices sitting in your database, so feeds advertise whatever price happened to be there at export time.

Pricefy for Magento

Pricefy connects through Magento's native REST and GraphQL APIs — an integration token, no extension, no composer require, no code changes. One connection powers 1,500+ channel–country templates with shared rules and validation, and feeds inherit the repriced prices Pricefy writes back to Magento.

What our customers say

“Before Pricefy, pricing our Magento catalog meant manually checking competitors. Now we find prices automatically and spot trends that tell us what customers actually want. Without this tool we'd need 3-4 more full-time analysts.”

FAQ

Magento Product Feed FAQ

What is a Magento product feed?
A structured file (CSV, XML or JSON) that carries your Magento products — titles, prices, images, stock, identifiers — to a sales channel like Google Shopping, Meta or TikTok, formatted to that channel's specification. Pricefy generates and refreshes these feeds automatically from a native Magento API connection.
How do I create a Google Shopping feed from Magento 2?
Connect your Magento 2 store to Pricefy with an integration token, pick the Google Shopping template for your country, and the feed is generated with the required attributes and Google product taxonomy already mapped. Point Merchant Center at your feed URL and it fetches updates on its own schedule.
How do I export products from Magento 2 to a shopping channel?
Magento admin's built-in export produces a raw CSV — fine for backups, but channels reject files that miss their required attributes and formats. Pricefy syncs your catalog continuously through the Magento API and exports validated, channel-specific feeds instead, so you never re-export by hand after a price or stock change.
Do I need to install a Magento feed extension?
No. Pricefy connects through Magento's native REST and GraphQL APIs — create an integration in Magento admin, copy the access token into Pricefy, done. No extension to install, no composer require, no code changes, and nothing to re-test when you upgrade Magento.
Does it handle configurable, bundle and grouped products?
Yes. Every Magento product type syncs natively — simple, configurable, bundle, grouped and virtual — with attribute sets and variation hierarchies preserved, so your feeds carry proper variant data instead of bare parent rows.
Which channels and formats are supported?
1,500+ channel–country templates across 69 countries — Google Shopping, Meta, TikTok, eBay, Bing, Pinterest, idealo, Kelkoo, affiliate networks and more. Export formats: CSV, TSV, XML, JSON, RSS and Atom, delivered by feed URL or FTP/FTPS/SFTP push, refreshed every 24, 48 or 72 hours.
Does it work with Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source?
Yes. Pricefy works with Magento Open Source, Adobe Commerce and Adobe Commerce Cloud — including multi-website, multi-store-view and customer-group configurations. One connection covers every storefront.
Do my feed prices stay in sync with Magento?
Yes. Feeds always carry the current prices and stock from your synced catalog. If you use Pricefy's dynamic repricing, new prices are written back to Magento via the API and flow into your feeds automatically — so Google Shopping never advertises a price you've already changed.
