Get your products into AI shopping
Shoppers are asking ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google and Copilot what to buy — and every one of those assistants reads structured product data. Pricefy's channel library ships ready-made feed templates for AI shopping surfaces, so your catalog is formatted, validated and refreshed the way each platform expects.
What is AI shopping?
AI shopping is product discovery through an AI assistant: instead of typing keywords into a search box, buyers describe what they need — "a lightweight trail running shoe under $120" — and the assistant answers with specific products, prices and links. Agentic commerce takes it one step further: the assistant doesn't just recommend, it moves the purchase forward, through open standards like OpenAI's Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP) and Google's Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP).
Behind every AI shopping answer sits structured product data. Assistants don't crawl your product pages the way a shopper reads them — they ingest catalogs: product feeds, merchant-program submissions and shopping-graph data. If your catalog isn't in that pipeline — in the right format, with fresh prices and stock — assistants have nothing reliable to represent you with. A product feed is the entry ticket. And the pipeline is filling fast: Adobe Analytics measured traffic from generative-AI sources to US retail sites up 393% year-over-year in Q1 2026 — with those visitors converting better than average.
Where AI shopping happens — and how you get in
Each platform ingests product data its own way. Here is the current entry path for each, and the Pricefy template that produces the file.
ChatGPT Shopping
ChatGPT answers shopping queries with product results — prices, images, visual comparison and links to buy. Merchants get in by submitting a product feed that follows OpenAI's published product feed spec and applying to the merchant program. Checkout approaches are still evolving (OpenAI rolled back its first Instant Checkout in March 2026 and refocused the experience on product discovery) — the feed is the stable entry point.
Perplexity
Perplexity answers shopping questions with product cards, and runs a Merchant Program where merchants share product data so their catalog is represented accurately. Checkout is powered by PayPal's Instant Buy (US): the merchant stays seller of record while the assistant handles the purchase.
Google AI Mode & AI Overviews
Google's AI answers — AI Mode and AI Overviews — pull products from the Shopping Graph, which is fed primarily by Google Merchant Center product feeds. The entry path is the one you may already run: a complete, fresh, policy-compliant Merchant Center feed. In January 2026 Google added the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) — an open agentic-checkout standard with new Merchant Center attributes for AI Mode and Gemini, in early access.
Microsoft Copilot
Microsoft Copilot surfaces products in conversation, with organic shopping results informed by Microsoft Merchant Center product feeds. Copilot Checkout (US) lets buyers complete purchases in Copilot, activated through PayPal, Shopify or Stripe.
Platform programs, formats and availability change quickly and differ by country; the links above point to each platform's official documentation. Being feed-ready makes you eligible — each assistant decides what it surfaces. All third-party names and logos belong to their respective owners.
AI assistants compare prices. Your feed should too.
When an assistant recommends a product, price is part of the answer — often the deciding part. Pricefy is a price intelligence platform first: competitor monitoring on every plan tells you where you stand, and from the Pro plan up, dynamic repricing publishes your adjusted prices straight into every feed. Out-of-stock and margin-losing SKUs stay out. Your AI shopping feed doesn't just carry your catalog — it carries your market position.
- Fresh prices on every scheduled refresh — stale data hurts how accurately assistants can represent your products.
- Repriced prices flow into feeds automatically (dynamic repricing from the Pro plan up).
- Validation blocks incomplete products before they ship, so feeds meet each spec.
Four steps to an AI shopping feed
Import your catalog
Connect Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, PrestaShop or Magento — or import a CSV. Products, prices and stock sync automatically.
Pick an AI channel template
Choose ChatGPT Shopping, Perplexity, Google or Bing: Pricefy loads the exact specification — required fields, format and taxonomy.
Map, enrich, validate
Map your fields to the spec, apply rules, and let validation flag incomplete products before the feed ships.
Publish and submit
Get a public feed URL (or FTP/FTPS/SFTP delivery) that refreshes on schedule — then register it with the platform's merchant program.
