FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE FEED

Facebook Marketplace Product Feed

A Facebook Marketplace feed is the product-catalog file that lists your inventory on Marketplace and Meta's shoppable surfaces. Pricefy builds it from your catalog — mapped to Meta's product-catalog spec, validated before it ships, and refreshed on schedule with your repriced, in-stock prices.

THE BASICS

What is a Facebook Marketplace feed?

A Facebook Marketplace feed is a structured file of your products — each with a title, price, availability, image and identifiers — added to a catalog in Meta Commerce Manager. Meta reads it to build your Marketplace listings and the shoppable formats that pull the right product, price and image automatically.

It follows the same product-catalog conventions as the rest of Meta: the required attributes must be present and correctly formatted, and prices and stock kept current, or products drop out. Keeping that file accurate as your catalog changes is the job Pricefy automates.

FEED SPECIFICATION

What Meta expects

The essentials of a Meta product-catalog feed for Marketplace. Pricefy maps your catalog to every required attribute and validates the feed before delivery — see Meta's Commerce Manager documentation for the authoritative, always-current spec.

Formats
CSV, TSV or XML (RSS), or a scheduled feed URL
Delivery
One-time upload or scheduled fetch from a feed URL
Catalog

Refresh
Keep price and availability current — daily or intraday

Core required attributes

  • id — a unique, stable identifier for each product
  • title — the product name
  • description — accurate product detail
  • availability — in stock or out of stock
  • condition — new, refurbished or used
  • price — the current price, with currency
  • link — the product landing page URL
  • image_link — the main product image URL
  • brand — the product brand

Some attributes are conditional — required for certain product types. Pricefy's validation flags what each product is missing before the feed ships.

HOW PRICEFY EXPORTS TO FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE

From catalog to shoppable listings

1

Import your catalog

Connect Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, PrestaShop or Magento — or import a CSV. Products, prices and stock sync automatically.

2

Load the Meta template

Pick Facebook Marketplace: Pricefy loads the product-catalog spec — required attributes and format.

3

Map, enrich and validate

Map your fields to Meta's attributes, apply rules, and let validation flag incomplete products before they ship.

4

Publish price-aware

Deliver a feed URL that refreshes on schedule — carrying the prices your repricing rules produce, with out-of-stock SKUs excluded automatically.

The prices in your listings come from your repricing engine

Most feed tools just move your catalog to Meta. Pricefy is a price intelligence platform first: competitor monitoring on every plan shows where you stand, and from the Pro plan up, dynamic repricing publishes your adjusted prices straight into the catalog feed. Your Marketplace listings never advertise yesterday's price or a product that just went out of stock.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Facebook Marketplace feeds, answered

What format does a Facebook Marketplace feed use?
Meta accepts CSV, TSV and XML (RSS) product catalog files, or a scheduled feed URL. Pricefy generates whichever the channel expects and validates the structure before delivery.
What are the required fields?
The core required attributes are id, title, description, availability, condition, price, link, image_link and brand. Some product types add conditional requirements. Pricefy flags anything a product is missing before the feed ships.
Is this the same catalog as Facebook and Instagram Shops?
Yes — it's the same Meta product catalog that powers Marketplace, Facebook and Instagram shopping surfaces. Pricefy also ships a dedicated Meta (Facebook & Instagram) template for the wider set of surfaces.
Can Pricefy put my repriced prices into the feed?
Yes — that's the point. Prices come from your Pricefy repricing rules (dynamic repricing from the Pro plan up), so your listings reflect your live competitive position, not a stale export.
