THE BASICS

What is an Awin feed?

An Awin feed is a structured file of your products that you host for the Awin affiliate network. Awin ingests it, generates the affiliate tracking links, and makes your catalog available to publishers, who promote your products and earn commission on the sales they drive.

Awin accepts two feed formats: its own Legacy schema, and an Enhanced feed in the Google Shopping product-data format — so you can reuse a Google-format feed for Awin. You supply the product data (name, description, price, image, category); Awin generates the affiliate deep links. Awin fetches your hosted feed on a schedule. Pricefy maps your catalog to Awin's spec, validates it, and keeps prices and stock current.

FEED SPECIFICATION

What Awin expects

The essentials of Awin's datafeed. Pricefy maps your catalog to the fields Awin needs and validates before delivery — see Awin's documentation for the authoritative, always-current spec.

Formats
CSV, TSV, TXT or XML (UTF-8, optionally zipped)
Feed types
Legacy (Awin schema) or Enhanced (Google Shopping product-data format)
Delivery
Awin fetches your hosted feed via HTTP(S), FTP or SFTP; or push via the Product API
Taxonomy
Awin's own merchant category (Legacy) or the Google taxonomy (Enhanced)

Core product fields you supply

  • product name — the product title
  • description — accurate product detail
  • product URL — your product landing page (Awin wraps it in the affiliate deep link)
  • image URL — the main product image
  • price — the current price, with currency
  • category — your product category (or a Google category for Enhanced feeds)

You provide the product data; Awin generates the affiliate tracking fields (the deep link that credits the publisher). The Enhanced format uses the Google Shopping product-data spec, so a Google-format feed can be reused for Awin. Field names and requirements differ between Legacy and Enhanced — see Awin's docs for the exact, current list. Pricefy handles the mapping and validation.

HOW PRICEFY EXPORTS TO AWIN

From catalog to an Awin-ready feed

1

Import your catalog

Connect Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, PrestaShop or Magento — or import a CSV. Products, prices and stock sync automatically.

2

Load the Awin template

Pick Awin and your country: Pricefy loads the spec — Legacy or Google-format Enhanced — with the fields Awin needs.

3

Map, enrich and validate

Map your fields, set your product URLs and categories, apply rules, and let validation flag incomplete products before they ship.

4

Publish price-aware

Host a feed URL (or FTP/SFTP) that Awin fetches on schedule — carrying the prices your repricing rules produce, with out-of-stock SKUs excluded automatically.

Publishers promote your live price — keep it right

Affiliates convert on accurate prices and in-stock products. Pricefy is a price intelligence platform first: competitor monitoring on every plan shows where you stand, and from the Pro plan up, dynamic repricing publishes your adjusted prices straight into the Awin feed. Publishers never promote yesterday's price or a product that just sold out.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Awin feeds, answered

Can I reuse my Google Shopping feed for Awin?
Yes — Awin's Enhanced feed uses the Google Shopping product-data format, so a Google-format feed can be reused. Pricefy generates the Legacy or Enhanced feed Awin needs from a single catalog.
What format does an Awin feed use?
Awin accepts CSV, TSV, TXT and XML (UTF-8, optionally zipped). It is not CSV-only. Pricefy produces the format your program expects and validates it.
Do I create the affiliate tracking links?
No — you supply your product data and landing-page URLs; Awin generates the affiliate deep links (aw_deep_link) that credit the publisher. Pricefy provides the product feed underneath.
How often is the feed refreshed?
Awin fetches your hosted feed on a schedule (a daily refresh is typical). Pricefy refreshes on the schedule you set, with the latest repriced prices and stock.
Can Pricefy put my repriced prices into the Awin feed?
Yes. Prices come from your Pricefy repricing rules (dynamic repricing from the Pro plan up), so the products publishers promote always show your live, competitive price.
