GOOGLE REGIONAL INVENTORY FEED

Google Regional Inventory Feed

A Google regional inventory feed lets you set different prices and availability by region within a country, so your Shopping ads and free listings show the right offer to shoppers in each area. Pricefy builds it from your catalog and regional data — mapped to Google's spec and validated before it ships.

THE BASICS

What is a Google regional inventory feed?

A Google regional inventory feed adds a regional layer to your primary product feed: for a group of regions you define in Merchant Center, it overrides price and availability so the same product can show different offers to shoppers in different areas of a country.

It pairs a product id with a region id, then carries the region-specific price and availability. Because regional pricing only helps when it's accurate and current, keeping the feed in sync is essential — and the job Pricefy automates.

FEED SPECIFICATION

What Google expects

The essentials of Google's regional inventory feed. Pricefy maps your catalog and regional data to every required attribute and validates before delivery — see Google's documentation for the authoritative, always-current spec.

Formats
XML or tab-delimited text (TXT/TSV)
Delivery
Scheduled fetch from a URL, or SFTP upload
Pairing
id + region_id override the primary feed for that region
Refresh
Keep regional price and availability current — daily or intraday

Core required attributes

  • id — the product id, matching your primary feed
  • region_id — the region group defined in Merchant Center
  • availability — availability for that region
  • price — the price for that region, with currency
  • sale_price — the regional sale price, where it applies

Regions are configured in Merchant Center; the regional feed overrides your primary feed only for the products and regions it lists. Pricefy's validation flags what each row is missing before the feed ships.

HOW PRICEFY EXPORTS THE REGIONAL FEED

From regional pricing to live listings

1

Import catalog & regions

Connect your catalog and regional price/availability — connect a platform or import a CSV.

2

Load the regional template

Pick Google Regional Inventory: Pricefy loads the spec — id/region_id pairing and required attributes.

3

Map, enrich and validate

Map product ids and region ids, set regional price and availability, and let validation flag incomplete rows before they ship.

4

Publish on schedule

Deliver a feed URL (or SFTP) that refreshes on schedule, so regional pricing stays current.

Regional prices should reflect regional markets — so let them come from your repricing engine

Most feed tools just move data to Google. Pricefy is a price intelligence platform first: competitor monitoring on every plan shows how you're priced across markets, and from the Pro plan up, dynamic repricing feeds your adjusted prices into your listings — so each region shows a current, competitive price.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Regional inventory feeds, answered

How is this different from the local inventory feed?
The local inventory feed sets availability and price per physical store; the regional inventory feed sets them per region group within a country. Pricefy ships both, alongside your primary Shopping feed.
What format does the regional feed use?
Google accepts XML and tab-delimited text (TXT/TSV), delivered by scheduled URL or SFTP. Pricefy generates the format Google expects and validates it before delivery.
What are the required fields?
Each row pairs an id with a region_id and carries availability and price, plus sale_price where it applies. Regions are configured in Merchant Center. Pricefy flags anything a row is missing before the feed ships.
Can Pricefy keep regional prices competitive?
Yes. Alongside the feed, Pricefy's competitor monitoring and repricing keep your prices current and competitive, so no region shows a stale price.
